Sandhya’s choices

Exactly after a year of her debut film Kadhal, actress Sandhya will have her new film Dishoom ready for release.

Kadhal catapulted her to fame overnight and today she is flooded with lots of offers. But she says I still have my feet firmly planted on the ground.

Sandhya knows that many heroines here had faltered after their first films. So she is doubly careful that she must fall into that trap.

Dishoom stars Sandhya opposite Jeeva and is directed by Sasi. The movie is slated for release early next month.

Asked about playing the sister role in Telugu remake of Thirupachi, Sandhya says, 'the banner was big and to be the sister of Pawan Kalyan was an invitation worth going miles to receive. The risk of being branded had to be taken but it could be well worth it.'
